Reports circulating on the late Ebony Reigns says that management of the late 2018 VGMA ‘Artiste of the Year’, Ebony Reigns, have hinted of taking the taking the awards to her graveside.
Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Onua FM, assistant manager of the late artiste, Allen Kofi Anti, said, management is planning on setting a date when they would storm the Osu Cemetery in Accra with the awards in a way to honor her hard work.
The management of the late act revealed that they had given the awards to the late artiste’s parents but were going to take it to the artiste at her graveside to honor her.
Ebony Reigns known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng picked up 3 awards at the 19th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards that was held at the Accra International Conference Center on April 14.
Ebony won ‘Afro-Pop’ song of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’ and the coveted ‘Artiste of the Year’ breaking 2 records of becoming the first female artiste to win the award and the first artiste to be awarded posthumously.
