Starrfmonline reports that, in some parts of rural Ghana school teachers are walking about four miles to teach.
Where is the assistance to help these teachers with their basic classroom needs? Where is the local funding to provide adequate conditions for teaching and learning?
Why are teachers in rural areas subjected to using rocks and outside sources to use as a classroom? Something needs to be done.
We say that children are the future however we are not investing in the basic needs of some children here in Ghana or their teachers to give them the best education possible.
