Veteran contemporary Hi-life singer Ofori Amponsah has signed a 5-year deal with Ghanaian rapper Guru’s record Label NKZ Music.
Guru made the announcement on his social media with a welcome message.

Guru in a phone conversation with Muse Africa confirmed the signing of Ofori Amponsah and duration of the 5year record label deal.
The ‘Bad Guy’ rapper asked Ghanaians to support the singer the same way they supported Wutah.
Excited Guru referred to Ofori Amponsah as a legend and told fans to be on the lookout for something great from him.
Ofori Amponsah joins the likes of Wutah, King Paluta, comedian Afia Schwarzenegger and Guru himself on the record label.
Ofori Amponsah is widely referred to by fans as the King of Contemporary hi-life after dominating the Ghanaian music scene from 2005 to 2010.
In 2013 Ofori Amponsah moved into ministry but returned to secular music in 2015 with his hit single Alewa featuring Sarkodie.
