The rap doctor Okyeame Kwame has revealed music producer Mark Okraku Mantey is the main influencer for his yet to be released album ‘Made in Ghana’.
The Multiple Award-winning rapper, made the revelation at his Album listening session at the Roots Hotel Apartment.
Okyeame Kwame revealed the renowned music promoter asked him to stop releasing singles since it was for the younger generation and rather release a themed Album, with a purpose.
That was how Okyeame Kwame conceived the idea for Made In Ghana.
Okyeame Kwame further praised Mark, who happens to be his first producer, for teaching him about branding, a lesson which has ended up making Okyeame Kwame one of the most respected brands in music.
“During my time, most of the rappers had dread but Okraku Mantey told me he wanted to create a brand I could take to a ladies house and her mother will not want to sack me” – Okyeame kwame praised Mark.
Okyeame Kwame is gearing up to release his fifth solo studio album, on 14th December dubbed ‘Made In Ghana’.
