Michael Jackson’s father replies Quincy Jones- He was Jealous of Michael.

Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson’s father has hit back at Quincy Jones on his accusations against Michael Jackson being a thief and stealing many of his songs.

Speaking to Page Six Joe Jackson said “Quincy Jones was quite jealous of Michael because he’s never worked with someone with all of that talent.”

He made this comment after Quincy Jones had stated in an interview with Vulture Magazine that “Michael stole a lot of stuff”.

Quincy also Quincy added: “He stole a lot of songs. [Donna Summer’s] ‘State of Independence’ and ‘Billie Jean’. The notes don’t lie, man. He was as Machiavellian as they come … Greedy, man. Greedy.”

But according to Micheal Jackson’s dad, If Michael Jacksons songs sound familiar to other artist then Quincy must accept some of the blame since they worked together.

He told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: “He says my son stole it, but he was the producer on both [‘Billie Jean’ and ‘State of Independence’], so if anybody is wrong it would be Quincy.”

We all know that Michael and Quincy had notorious fallout before his death in 2009 even after working together on some of Michael Jackson’s biggest albums.

According to an anonymous family member Jones has ‘quietly carried a vendetta’ against Michael for more than 30 years.

According to the family member the feud started when Michael reportedly disagreed on whether Quincy deserved recognition at the Grammy Awards for having produced Michael’s iconic ‘Thriller’ album.

The anonymous Jackson family member added that after Jones received the Grammy, he and Michael ‘fell out for good,’ after Quincy arranged a duet with Prince on the song Bad.

‘Michael kind of looked up to Quincy almost like he looked at Motown founder Berry Gordy,’ the family member said of the once-close relationship.

‘So when Quincy got Prince to agree to the song, Michael felt that it would be good only because that’s what Quincy promised. But he didn’t know that Quincy had agreed to give Prince top billing on Michael’s own song.’

The duet never happened, but the family member alleges Michael ‘absolutely lost it’ when Prince spoke publicly about the almost collaboration, saying the first line of the song – ‘Your butt is mine’ – was a problem.

So who is saying the truth, Joe, Quincy or the family source and the big question remains- ‘Was the greatest of all time – Michael Jackson a thief and did he steal songs from other artists?
