Afro beat and Jazz Legend Femi Kuti has released his 10th album titled “One People One World”.
In a recent interview with american popular Magazine Rollinng Stone, Femi revealed that the album is to give the younger generation a message of hope.
“I’m a father and I love my kids, so I want to give the younger generation a message of hope,” he said. “Despite all our problems, we can create greatness in our lives.”
Two singles off the album Na Their Way Be That and the title track One People One World have already been released and are doing well and receieving constant plays on radio stations in Nigeria.
Femi will begin a series of live performances of the album this Sunday at the New Afrika Shrine, Lagos and will also begin his “One People One World” tour which will hit other locations in the coming weeks according to his management company Chocolate City Group who say the plan is to take Femi Kuti’s brand of Afrobeat as close to fans of the legend as possible.
