Ghanaian rapper Yung Pabi has announced he has a new single on the way.
The single titled ‘Guy No’ will be Yung Pabi’s first single of the year, following up the success of his EP “Running With Men On Horse” (RWMOH).
Talking about the new song exclusively on Muse Africa, Yung Pabi revealed he had to push back his plans because of the novel coronavirus pandemic, however, with fans putting pressure on him to release a single, he made Guy No to satisfy them.
‘…I wasn’t supposed to drop this (song) but chale the fans dey call for this song and we have to give them something to prepare themselves for what’s coming, so I had to prepare this, this was like last week.’
Even though the song is for the fans, Yung Pabi revealed ‘Guy No’ is different. He stated he is bringing back his old-self who will be foreign to most of his new fans.
‘…This year we are going on a new dimension, a new side of Pabi people don’t know. It’s is not actually new but it’s like a lot of people hopped on my later part like the new Pabi and this is like the old Pabi. This is who I was before I became the Pabi they knew…’
The release date of ‘Guy No’ is Monday 15th June 2020.
The upcoming single was produced by Magnom and Paabright.
