Sope Dirisu scores 2021 BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination
Nigerian-British actor, Sope Dirisu has earned a 2021 BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination.
The award honours a performer who has shown outstanding talent on the big screen in the past year and captured the attention of both the public and film industry.
The award was created after Mary Selway‘s death in 2004. She has been recognised for her successful role as a casting director and has helped many new actors and actresses to their claim to fame
The other contenders for the award are Kingsley Ben-Adir, Conrad Khan, Bukky Bakray, and Morfydd Clark.

Dirisu is known for roles in productions including Gangs of London.
He is currently shooting a lead role in Mr Malcolm’s List.
