Nigerian Afrobeat/Afropop artist, Hbee has shared his thought process as a singer and songwriter.
The fast rising act released his debut song ‘Ejo’ in 2019 to good reviews.
Since then, he has captured the attention of music lovers in Nigeria, and the rest of Africa. With his unique vocals and deep therapeutic cadences, music industry watchers say he has proven himself as a phenomenal artist to watch.
“It’s just about learning, growing and putting big plans for moving music into action. I just want to be the best version of me possible. I want to be one of the biggest exports out from Africa,” explains Hbee.
“I just want to be my best self so I can inspire other people to be their best selves, changes lives, help people in any way in anything I do, inspire people positively, motivate people. That’s my goal.”
He released his debut EP ‘Wickedest Vibe’ in 2019.
It led to him being included on lists of new crop of Afrobeats-leaning artists likely to make a great impact on the global music scene.
Hbee writes and co-directs the visuals of his songs.
His work is influenced by the likes of Wizkid, Sean Tizzle, Burna Boy, Davido, Wande Coal and Runtown. A new EP by Hbee is expected in mid-2021, according to his management.
