#MuseBOTY20: Kofi Jamar talks feeling “great” about ‘Ekorso’ topping charts

Kofi Jamar feels ‘great’ about how popular his song ‘Ekorso’ is.

Released in November 2020, the street anthem features Yaw Tog and Ypee, and is currently one of the biggest songs in the country.

It tells the tale of “street grind and the resilient spirit of the youth’s ambition to win regardless of the circumstances in which they find themselves in,” according to a description on Youtube.

I feel great already because the song is topping charts. And I feel proud that I did it with my boys from Kumerica,” expressed Jamar to Antoine Mensah, host of Muse Africa’s Bangers of the Year 2020 show.

Two songs by the GadOne Records-signed artiste charted on the multi-platform music initiative to celebrate the songs that dominated the Ghanaian radio landscape for the year 2020.

Jamar also has collaborations with Stonebwoy, Khaligraph Jones and Ice Prince Zamani.
