Ghanaian artiste, King Promise has signed a deal with UK based 5K Records.
The imprint is a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment, and was founded by Co-Presidents Moe Bah and Kilo Jalloh of 2K Management & Jonathan Mensah, known in showbiz circles as JAE5.
Executives of the label say they “intend to to help break across international shores” with Promise’s craft by building up on the successes garnered over the past years especially in the West African music space.
A new project by the ‘Oh Yeah’ crooner is said to be in the works, and will be released next year. ‘Alright,’ a new record by Promise featuring Shatta Wale is the first release after the signing of the deal.
