Kwaku DMC has been at the fore front of the Asakaa wave that has led to the emergence of the Kumerican wave in Ghana and across the African continent.
Songs like Kwabanga’s Akatafour and Yaw Tog’s Sore are part of songs that have raised the profile of the Asakaa genre across the world.
Asakaa is a localized term used for Ghanaian drill music specifically coming from Kumasi.

He also revealed with the work he and his team Life Living Records are doing, they are aiming to break-through the local music scene and hit the international scene.
