Fans split over Ama K Abebrese’s comments on FDA and Game commission ban

Ghanaian actress Ama K. Abebrese has received backlash from fans after she commented on Ghanaian celebrities fighting to get paid to endorse alcoholic brands and betting companies.

In a tweet she wrote;

Nigerian youths are fighting to #EndSARS #EndSWAT & end #PoliceBrutality for their Human Rights. In Ghana, some celebrities are fighting to be paid to promote alcohol and sports betting to youths as a ‘Human Rights’ issue. Everyone has a right to protest what matters to them.


The post didn’t go down well with a section of her followers as they hit back at her.
