$pacely opens up on La Meme, Labadi Music, and more at Space Connect

Labadi Music signed Artist $pacely organized a meet and greet over the weekend with a section of the media and his fans at BBNZ Live Bar dubbed Space Connect.

The whole idea of the media meet up, was to introduce $pacely as a solo artist to the world, whiles sharing his future plans.

$Pacely is a member of the Ghanaian music collective La Meme Gang alongside Darkovibes, RJZ and KiddBlack.


The meet and greet was hosted award winning MC Kojo Manuel (Presenter on YFM) with support from Coke.

The media got to enjoy some exclusives from the Labadi Music camp, with visuals from Dani Draco (signed to Labadi Music), Almighty Trei and Obaasima by Moor Sound, Buman, $pacely and Yaa Pono.

It wasn’t just about exclusives, as $pacely touched on some sensitive issues.

The Digits hit-maker believes La Meme have been a target since they emerged and one such attack was the alleged sexual abuse tagged to two members of the group, that gained social media attention with former member of La Meme Kweku BS disassociating himself from the collective.

$pacely denied the allegations and stated the collective will address all their allegations in their forthcoming tape.

The rapper also explained why his team chose the name ‘Labadi’ Music, he revealed because it felt ‘Wavy’.

Labadi is home to the most popular beach spot in Ghana, and it’s easy to understand that logic.

$pacely also used the opportunity to launch Merch Mania 2020 scheduled in November.
