It could be vividly remembered that during last years VGMA20 there was a tumultuous outbreak between reggae dancehall acts, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
As a result of that, these two artists were banned from participating in the Award scheme and its activities. Even after the event, certain occasions and utterances made by both the scheme and these artists have also expressed their displeasure with each other.
However during the just ended VGMA21, Shatta Wale and stonebwoys songs’ Already and Putuu were used on the night which didn’t sit well with most people, especially with the fans of these two artists.
Enock Agyapong, who happens to be the boss of the Vim Crew opines that charterhouse should be dragged to court by these artists for playing their songs at a scheme which banned them and have their cases in court.
To him it is a greatest sign of disrespect to the artists and their crafts and should not be encouraged.
George Quaye, who is the producer of the show also believes that contrary to what Enock Agyapong thinks, he should have seen that act as a step towards peace and not one that should worsen the situation at hand.
He also believes that this case will even not be considered in the court law when sent there by these artists and calls for love instead of stretching issues.
