The conversation of VGMA21 using Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s song in a scheme they had been banned from.

While some Ghanaians like Enock Agyapong believe that it was not right for the scheme to have done that since they consider them as miscreant and had a case with them pending in court.

George Quaye who was the former PRO to Charterhouse and the producer of the VGMA21 has also replied to those opinions saying that playing their songs could have been a step in the right direction.

He also revealed that he had the intention of getting the two artists to present the Reggae-Dancehall category yo the current winner asa sign of peace and unity and to show Ghanaians that what happened can be forgotten since they are at peace now. Then during the announcement of the ultimate prize by Mrs. Ayoade get her to say they were forgiven and the ban probably lifted.

To him this would have been a way to celebrate the occasion beautifully and forget all that might have happened previously between them and the scheme.

However he was a bit late in proposing it and especially for its execution.
