Kuami Eugene crowned Artist of the year at 2020 VGMA

Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene has finally replaced the late Ebony Reigns as the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artist of the year.

Ebony had been the artist of the year since 2018, due to the failure to announce the winner of the Artist of the year in 2019 due to the fracas between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

Kuami Eugene beat the likes of Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Kidi, Diana Hamilton.

Aside from the coveted award, Kuami Eugene for the third year in a row won the Highlife Artist category.

At the age of 23, Kuami Eugene is one of the youngest recipients of the highest honor on the VGMA stage.
