On the debut episode of Muse Africa’s This Is Muse, the team spoke to spoke to Kuami Eugene who just released his major single off the Son of Africa Album.
Commenting on parody accounts using his name to misbehave on social media, Kuami Eugene said:
‘I mean there is nothing you can do about that. One, you report them and urge other people to report them as well, because at the end of the day, whatever bad thing they do out there comes back to your image or comes back to tarnish your image so. As I said, there is little you can do, you know how social media is like, you can’t go to their houses and say you doing this I don’t like it.“
He added that:
Maybe you can take a screenshot of that page, out it out there, and say this is fake and people shouldn’t buy whatever they say.
Hopefully, social media will find a way of flushing out parody accounts or better still take drastic measures after researching into a parody account.
