Stars Who Have Spoken Against Counselor Lutterodt’s Rape Comment

For some time now, conversations about rape and all forms of sexual abuse have been intensified in the media and on social media platforms all around the world. Celebrities around the world have been sharing their opinions and experiences to help expose these predators whose activities thrive on the silence of their victims. Hence the “MeToo” movement on social media.

Ghana’s media space has been dominated by a very controversial statement made by a popular radio and TV pundit, Counselor Lutterodt about this sensitive matter. According to him, every rape victim enjoys the act of being raped. While Ghanaians have been trying to get him to retract that statement, Counselor Lutherodt was obstinate. Some Ghanaian celebrities have also found the need to add their voluminous voice to this matter to help bring down such talks which praise instead of condemning such heinous acts.
