Ghanaian female Rapper, Freda Rhymz has in an interview with Muse Africa explained how she deals with criticism in her career.
To her she believes “If you not ready for criticisms, you are not ready for success”, knowing that both negative and positive vibes from people are all part of the work. She expressed that:
I just stay focus, do what I have to do as an artist, at the end of the day I’m just happy, I just need to do something that makes me happy. Yes, so I just try to balance both, because I know at the end of the day, no matter what, people will still talk about what you do.”
She finally encourages people to always go for the positive sides of every contribution and continue to be themselves in whatever they find themselves doing.
