For some time now, Ghanaians through Akuapem Poloo’s nudity saga, have been made to understand that they could be held accountable for what they put on social media.
Aside from social media opinions, other astute people in the Ghanaian media and entertainment industry have also spoken to the matter with most of them frowning at it. Not long ago, the traditional leaders of Akuapem have asked her to take the name Akuapem off hers since she does not properly represent them.
Hip-hop Rapper Asem, on the other hand, seems to have no problem with what Akuapem Poloo did and has jumped to her defense by lambasting some Ghanaians.
According to Asem, Africans and the Carribeans have been disrespecting women and sees no reason why a woman would be dragged for posting what Akuapem Poloo posted.
Though this seems controversial, Asem feels women should be treated better than this with regards to Akuapem Poloo’s issue.
