Is Sista Afia Experiencing Delusion of Grandeur?

Queen Solomon(Sista Afia) has in a recent post tagged herself as the savior of the rap game.

Not long ago, it could be recalled that the Queen of the Slaynation initiated a hot beef between herself and some of the women in the Ghanaian rap industry, Freda Rhymz, and Eno Barony.

While some people lambasted the highlife artist for switching up and causing a commotion in another genre, others congratulated her for sparking the fire and getting people interested in a group that seemed dead.

Sista Afia in some of her verses affirmed the notion that she came to revive the female rap industry with her WMT and YOU Got Nerves diss tracks.

Now, Sista Afia in an Instagram post with the King of Ghana’s reggae/Dancehall, Stonebwoy, has captioned it saying

“After saving the female (RapGame), guess which genre I’m about to throw light on. Myself with the one and only 1 GAD @stonebwoyb. BHIM NATION X SLAYNATION 💣💣”

Though people are congratulating her on a possible record with Stonebwoy, others feel she must be inflicted with the delusion of Grandiose to think that she is about to throw the light on one of the biggest genres in Ghana, Reggae/ Dancehall.

Though she didn’t state emphatically the genre she was about to do, with Stonebwoy in the picture, it could be induced that the next destination for the high life artist is Reggae/Dancehall.

However, over the years the Ghanaian music industry has produced some of the biggest Reggae/ Dancehall artists in Africa like Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Jupitar, Epixodw, Samini, Raskuuku to mention a few.

Sista Afia, on the other hand, has barely a national hit song in spite of her success in the Ghanaian nightlife genre. Which now begs the question: How does she intend to throw the light on something that is bigger than her?
