Ghanaian rapper Tinny has debunked reports that he tested positive for COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus).
News spread that Tinny had tested positive for COVID-19 after his friend and fellow artist Nii Funny posted that on Facebook.
Nii Funny asked Ghanaians to pray for Tinny, as he had tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Broken Heart hit maker has since deleted his post, though the news had already spread on numerous news portals.
In a press statement from Tinny’s management Kankpe Records, they denied Tinny had tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the press statement, the news came out after a jovial conversation between Tinny and colleague musician, Nii Funny.
The release also assured Tinny’s fans, family and Ghanaians that the ‘Ringtone’ hitmaker is well and healthy and has in no way tested positive to the deadly novel coronavirus.
Our attention has been drawn to few social media comments and blog posts stating categorically that Nii Addo Quaynor, popularly known as Tinny ‘Aletse’ has been diagnosed with Corona Virus.
As the management of Tinny, we debunk all rumors this and assure fans, close relations, and the general public that Tinny is healthy and has not in any way tested positive for the Corona Virus.
