Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has shared a song from the late highlife legend Nana Tuffour which helped her a lot in 2017.
Yvonne Nelson is a known lover of classic highlife and hip-life tunes and she’s a huge fan of Obrafuor.
She was one of the major pillars of Obrafour’s 20th Anniversary concert with Obrafour acknowledging her as such.
Over the past week, Yvonne Nelson has shared some songs she’s been listening to which includes Kojo Antwi’s Mfa Me Nkoho.
Throwing back to 2017, Yvonne Nelson revealed how Nana Tuffour’s music helped her that year.
In a post on Twitter, Yvonne Nelson wrote;
Your music did alot for me in 2017…..ALOT.
The song she shared is titled ‘Adeepena’ off Nana Tuffour’s Highlife Classics Compilation on apple music.

The late Nana Tuffour passed on 15th June 2020 at the age of 66 years.
He reportedly died in the early hours of Monday, June 15, at his home.
Nana Tuffour had been unwell for some time and had not been active for a while.
He released his first album Highlife Romance in 1979 and went on to record 15 albums during his career.
