We Are millennial culture. We Mean Music

Akesse Brempong compares Gospel musicians’ pay to that of Secular musicians. Here is what he said

In Ghana’s music industry, there is a clear difference between the lives or living of secular artists and Gospel artists. In spite of them organizing shows every year and performing almost every weekend in their churches and others, it seems the value of gospel artists can not be equated to that of secular artists.

Renowned gospel musician has in an interview on Sammyflex Tv corroborated the fact that secular artist in Ghana are ‘valued’ more than gospel artist, stating that ‘Gospel musicians are not paid heavily as secular”.- Akesse

This of course goes a long way to highlight on some problems in the gospel circle which seem to make them lag behind their counterparts in spite of Ghana having majority of it’s population being Christians.
