South African rapper Nasty C who recently inked a deal with American record label Def Jam through a joint venture with Universal Music Group (UMG) Africa in late March, has confirmed a new mixtape will be dropping soon in collaboration with American DJ, DJ Whoo Kid.
Nicknamed “The Coolest Kid in Africa,” the 23-year-old rapper has so far released just one single ‘There They Go’ which will be the lead single off his upcoming third studio album “Zulu Man With Some Power“.
Well it looks like fans of Nasty C might have to wait for a little while before the album drops as the “Strings and Blings” hit-maker confirmed he will ve dropping a mixtape soon.
He confirmed this via a tweet when a Twitter user asked him to drop an album soon.
DJ Whoo Kid, is an American–Haitian Hip HopDJ who is currently signed to rapper 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records and has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop such as 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Akon and many more.
According to Billboard, Nasty C had planned to spend part of May on a promotional tour that included stops in Japan, Africa, and Los Angeles celebrating his upcoming Def Jam debut album, Zulu Man With Some Power — but then the coronavirus hit.
The mixtape so far has no release date yet but might be released earlier next month.
