Ghanaian rapper Ball J believes Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie has become a better lyricist thanks to him.
Ball J and Sarkodie are currently on good terms as their beef continues to drag on. The beef brought about songs like Sarkodie’s Sub Zero and Ball J’s Lullaby.
In an interview on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz, Ball J revealed the feud has made Sarkodie a better lyricist because he believes he brought back the fire in Sarkodie.
“When Sarkodie sees me, I know he is going to say in his head that I made him better. He is not going to write any rhyme that sounds boring,” Ball J said.
“I know when Sarkodie sees me, he would feel the need to get back to his element; how he used to sound before; how he sounded on Edem’s Keva.”
Ball J then advised Sarkodie to always use the energy he began with at the start of his career.
Ball J is currently promoting his single Nana Aba, as he tones down his bars and enters into the love space.
