Yaa Pono hits back at Shatta Wale for what he terms as ‘Rubbish talk’

Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono has found offense at Shatta Wale saying the Ghanaian rap scene doesn’t have a strong base and blaming Reggie Rockstone for popularizing the genre in Ghana.

Shatta Wale in an interview with MzGee on TV3, stated rap wasn’t listened to by the older generation whiles insinuating the genre didn’t have substance. He went further to blame Reggie Rockstone for bringing hip-life to Ghana, stating Reggie hadn’t achieved anything with the genre.

Yaa Pono a few weeks after reconciling with Shatta Wale after 3 years of bad blood, feels Shatta Wale’s comments are ‘Rubbish Talk’.

In an Instagram post, Yaa Pono wrote;
