Mr Eazi is the Jay Z of Afrobeats – KoJo Cue

Ghanaian rapper KoJo Cue has compared Nigerian afrobeats star Mr Eazi to Hip Hop’s first billionaire Jay Z.

Mr Eazi is part of the front runners of Afrobeats stars taking the genre to the world. The singer has worked with Beyonce, Major Lazar and has toured with JBalvin and Bad Bunny.

He also started his Empawa project, which saw him give 100 independent African artistes $100,000.

He is about to launch Empawa’s distribution platform.

KoJo Cue seems to be impressed with the effort of the Nigerian singer tweeted Mr Eazi was Jay Z of Afrobeats.

He did give any reason for the tweet, but with the above achievements of Mr Eazi’s it isn’t hard to predict why.
