Ghanaian actor Kalybos aims to become the first Ghanaian creative to become a billionaire in the creative arts industry.
The actor made the comment as he was introduced as the ambassador for Geddit Ghana at a press conference held at the Golden Tulip hotel.
It was also revealed Kalybos was a minority share holder in the Tech company. He however won’t directly be involved in the running of the company but will be represented by his manager on the board.
On why he invested in Geddit Ghana, Kalybos revealed he was inspired by Jay Z becoming Hip Hop’s first Billionaire, with investments in companies such as Rock Nation, Tidal and Uber.
Kalybos also advised his colleagues not to just take one off payment when appointed as ambassadors but they should find a way to be part of the business for the long term.
Due to his stake in the company, Kalybos will be the brand ambassador till a time he no longer has a stake in Geddit Ghana.
The press conference was attended by fellow actors such as John Dumelo and James Gardiner.
Geddit is a marketing platform for people to get closer to brands. It also allows fans to play games and win amazing prizes.
