After empowering 100 African artistes, Mr Eazi is set to assist 50 artistes with $500,000.
Mr Eazi last year launched the ‘Epawa project’ which financed 100 artistes with $100,000, which catered for the recording of songs and shooting of music videos.
The project unearthed talents such as Joeboy and Ghana’s J.Derobie, who had his groundbreaking hit single Poverty through Empawa.
J.Derobie has gone on to be an ambassador for Betpawa and featured Jamaican star Popcaan on the remix of his Poverty single.
Poverty also earned him Reggae/Dancehall song of the Quarter at MuseAfrica’s Bangerz of the Quarter Accolades.
The ‘Surrender’ hit maker revealed the 2nd Phase of Empawa starts from July 19th in a tweet.
Mr Eazi is planning to build one of the biggest African distributing platforms through his Empawa initiative.
