Charter House Cannot Leave All the blame on the Artiste (NO) says Sarkodie

Ghana’s Artiste of the Decade Sarkodie known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo has commented on the ban given to his fellow artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

The ‘Cant Let you go’ hit maker thinks that Charter House who are organizers of the event must also be blamed for what happened but it looks like they (organizers) are putting all the blame on the artistes.

Earlier on Thursday, 23rd of May 2019, Charter House banned Dancehall Artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for misconduct at the just held 20th edition of the VGMA.

The two artistes were arrested by the police and arranged before court on Wednesday, 22nd of May 2019.

They were charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace while Stonebwoy has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission.

The two were put before a court in Accra today, Wednesday. The court presided over by Magistrate Isaac Addo granted the two bail at a cost of GHc 50,000 with one surety each.

Lawyers Jerry Avenyor and Selali Wonya represented Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy respectively.
