Is ‘The Reign’ Album a show of Shatta Wale’s dominance?

Last year Shatta Wale revealed the title of his sophomore album ‘The Reign’ by using the hash tag #TheReignsAlbum to create awareness for it.

This isn’t the first time Shatta Wale is using the title The Reign for a project, in 2017 he released a Mixtape hosted by DJ Manni titled ‘The Reign’ Mixtape.

It seems Shatta Wale sends strong messages with his album titles. His debut album was titled ‘After The Storm’, which had 22 tracks and a length of 74 minutes and 15 seconds.

The launch of the Album was held at the Ghana Independence Square, drawing a reported over 50,000 crowd.

After The Storm came 10 years after Shatta Wale endured a torrid time of getting back to the top of the music game after his hit song ‘Moko Hoo’ in 2004 and he has been winning ever since.

He hasn’t set a specific date for the release but close sources say it would be released in the first half of the year.

Using a post he made via his Instagram page, I am sure ‘After the storm’ comes “The Reign”.
